On 10.05.2011 a seminar called TIA Portal Innovation Tour has been brought by the Siemens department of industrial automation at the building of EL KONTROL EOOD.
The Siemens new engineering platform TIA Portal has been presented for the first time in Central and Eastern Europe.
During the presentation part of the event, the new engineering platform of Siemens - TIA Portal, as well as other innovations in the industrial automation, ways of improving productivity, and other solutions based on TIA (Totally Integrated Automation) were introduced.
The phases of a simulated manufacturing process in a factory for soft drinks have been observed during the live demonstration part of the event. Guests were made acquainted with the TIA Portal development environment and with a demonstration system for automation.
