Project description
At the end of 2003 an investment Project for Rehabilitation and renovation of the facilities and the power capacities of Maritsa East 3 TPP was launched, with the German Consortium DSD / RWE as a main contractor. Project includes rehabilitation of Power Units 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Power Plant. Separate stages of the implementation were assigned to Bulgarian subcontractors, leading in the field of power construction. EL KONTROL was invited by the main contractor and approved as a subcontractor for the rehabilitation of Unit 2. For the period 2003 - 2006 we implemented a number of separate orders for the following activities:
Activities
- Manufacture, delivery and installation of electrical panels;
- Delivery and erection of power equipment and components;
- Dismantle and construction of cable trays, laying of LV and MV cables, making cable terminals;
- Control tests and commissioning of electrical equipment.
Other
Rehabilitation of Power Unit 2 in Maritsa East 3 TPP was completed in March 2006, by putting the facilities into operation. A proof of the good business relations and the quality of the works carried out by EL KONTROL is the Reference received from Consortium DSD Dillinger Stahlbau GmbH / RWE Industrie-Losungen GmbH.
