Project description
After completion of the significant Project for reconstruction and enlargement of 400 kV Switchyard in Maritsa East 3 TPP, executed by EL KONTROL as a Main Contractor, the National Electric Company of Bulgaria through its High Voltage Network Enterprise proceeded to the next stage of the refurbishment of Maritsa East 3 TPP. Project concerns rehabilitation of 220 kV Switchyard, and its electrical scope was announced in a Public Procurement in March, 2004. EL KONTROL was selected as a Contractor and started implementation of the order for Rehabilitation of 220 kV Switchyard in Maritsa East 3 TPP - second stage: Substitution of disconnectors and circuit breakers in bays 10, 11, 12 (column 3) and bays 10, 11, 12 (column 0) - Primary and Secondary Commutation.
Activities
- Dismantle of 220 kV equipment: current transformers, voltage transformers, disconnectors, surge arresters, support insulators, and circuit breakers;
- Монтаж на съоръжения 220 кV: токови трансформатори, напреженови трансформатори, разединители, катодни отводители, подпорни изолатори, прекъсвачи;
- Installation of 220 kV power equipment: current transformers, voltage transformers, disconnectors, surge arresters, support insulators, and circuit breakers;
- Installation of busbar system;
- Primary wiring of the equipment;
- Manufacturing and installation of control panels on the bays;
- Delivery and installation of control cables;
- Control tests and commissioning of 220 kV Switchyard.
Other
The order was successfully completed, within the agreed time schedules. A Reference has been issued by NEC EAD, High Voltage Network Enterprise, Sofia.
