Project description
Main contractor for implementation of this project for Reconstruction and Enlargement of 400 kV switchyard in Substation Plovdiv-South is SIEMENS A.G. - Germany, through its Bulgarian branch. Electrical scope of the Project was awarded to EL KONTROL, including substitution of all the existing electrical equipment in the 400 kV switchyard of the Substation with last generation electrical equipment.
Activities
- Substitution of 400 kV equipment - dismantle of existing and installation of new equipment: circuit breakers, knife disconnect switch, current transformers, voltage transformers, surge arresters, support insulators;
- Laying and connection of control cables;
- Erection of new 31,5 kV auxiliary switchgear;
- Installation of relay panels, DC panels and 0,4 kV auxiliary panels.
Other
The site was completed and the erected facilities were put into operation in September 2006. By realization of this substantial project EL KONTROL has enriched its experience in construction of HV Substations establishing itself as one of the leading companies on the Bulgarian markets in the field of power engineering.
