Project description
This order was awarded to EL KONTROL in June 2008 being the fourth consecutive 400 kV Substation constructed with participation of EL KONTROL. Project is part of the investment program of NEC for development, modernization and reconstruction of the Bulgarian power transmission system. It concerns enlargement of Substation Maritsa East, Galabovo, by erection of 400 kV Switchyard. Main Contractor of the Project is the Spanish Company Iberdrola Ingenieria y Construccion.
Activities
- Primary Commutation - Installation of circuit breakers, current transformers, voltage transformers, disconnectors, surge arresters, insulator chains;
- Secondary Commutation - Installation of relay panels, control switchboards, AC / DC auxiliary power supply panels;
- Erection of cable trays;
- Laying and connection of power and control cables;
- Construction of earthing installation and lightning protection installation;
- Control tests of the installed equipment;
- Construction of guard and operational lighting installation in 400 kV Switchyard;
- Primary Commutation in 31.5 kV Switchyard - Installation of circuit breakers, current transformers, voltage transformers, disconnectors, surge arresters, insulator chains;
- Primary Commutation in 220 kV Switchyard - installation of circuit breakers, current transformers, voltage transformers, disconnectors, surge arresters, insulator chains.
