Retrofit of a complex medium voltage switchgear (MV SWG) is modernization (replacement) of the existing primary facilities, integration of new facilities and repair of the secondary commutation, while the retrofit preserves the construction of the MV SWG.
Awarded scope includes elaboration of detailed design for primary and secondary commutation of MV connections, and further completion of the electrical installation activities set in the project.
Contract is concluded with the Partnership DZZD Retroft, in which EL KONTROL is a partner company. Project has been implemented entirely by EL KONTROL.
Scope of executed activities:
- Repair of switchgear primary commutation;
- Reconstruction of existing trolleys and installing new circuit breakers onto them;
- Repair of switchgear secondary commutation, low voltage section, by dismantling and installing relay protection, automation, and electrical equipment;
- Repair of switchgear secondary commutation section – plug connection, control circuits, signalization, blocking, heating, limit switches;
- Repair of switchgear secondary commutation, cable section – cabling of measuring transformer, C&I equipment of earth switch, blocking, heating;
- Control tests and commissioning of the switchgear.
