Subject of this project is rehabilitation of existing primary equipment, installation of new equipment and repair of 20kV switchgear secondary switching at Arpezos Electrical Substation.
EL KONTROL elaborated a detailed design, including:
- Electrical Part, Primary Switching
- Electrical Part, Secondary Switching
- Health and Safety
- Fire safety.
Works were carried out in separate stages. Each stage included retrofit and commissioning of the connections to one of the four sections. The following scope of activities were completed:
Primary switching activities:
Retrofit of two existing feeders by removal of existing circuit breakers and installation of high voltage fuses on existing handcart.
Supply of primary switching materials.
Secondary switching activities for 28 pcs. Switchgear:
Supply and installation of limit switches, handcart, earth knife, protection.
Supply and installation of secondary switching materials.
Installation of digital relay protections.
Replacement of relay compartment doors - for each switchgear.
Cabling of relay compartment of switchgear, construction of control circuits, signalling and interlocks.
Control tests and commissioning.
