In October 2011 EL KONTROL finished the second stage of the Project for Erection of 110/20 kV Helios Substation destined to supply the increased power consumption by the Southern Black Sea Resorts.
The Substation was entirely erected by EL KONTROL including construction of Control Building, concrete foundations, and asphalt roads; installation, cabling and commissioning of all the electrical equipment.
A key feature about the Project was the extremely short time of 72 days for completion of the first construction stage after which the equipment was put under operation to for the 2011 summer tourist season.
