Siemens introduced the trends in industrial digitization
The annual seminar organized jointly by SIEMENS and EL KONTROL was held on May 30, 2018 under the title TIA Portal Innovation Tour 2018/60 years of SIMATIC.
The lecturers from SIEMENS – Eng. Viktor Mitrev and Eng. Boyko Boykov presented the novelties in SIMATIC discreet automation, which has been steadily developing for 60 years already. In live demonstration guests were introduced the new technological objects for kinematic models in SIMATIC S7.
Short films presented the global trends in industrial digitization - industrial production of a final product on individual customer's assignment, and furthermore, construction of decision-making intelligent factories in the nearest future.
The new features of the TIA Portal platform, the possibilities to increase industrial productivity, solutions and references in this area, based on the Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) concept, were presented.
