This EPC project is related to the digital transformation of the power grid in Bulgaria, and the implementation of automated control systems in the substations.
The assignment includes complete reconstruction of the existing 110kV Switchyard, construction of a new field for connection of 110kV cable line, configuration and testing of digital relay protection, setup of RTU to connect the substation to the ESO remote control system.
Subject of execution is the full scope of activities envisaged in the project including: Architectural & Structural Part, Geodesy, Roads, Water supply & Sewerage, Electrical Part – Primary and Secondary switching.
Detailed description of activities:
ELECTRICAL PART - PRIMARY SWITCHING
1. Dismantling of existing 110kV equipment
2. Cabling of existing 20kV overhead lines
3. Installation of 110kV equipment and facilities: disconnectors, circuit breakers, surge arresters, power transformers, current transformers, support isolators, voltage transformers
4. Installation of 110kV busbar systems and hanging deviations
5. Installation of steel structures
6. Construction of earthing installation and lightning protection installation
7. Installation and connection of power cables
ELECTRICAL PART - SECONDARY SWITCHING
8. Manufacture, supply and installation of control and relay cabinets
9. Configuration and adjustment of relay protection
10. Supply, installation and connection of power and control cables
CONSTRUCTION
11. Dismantling of concrete gantry and support structures
12. Construction of concrete foundations for primary equipment, construction of pipe networks and cable ducts, cable shafts, support walls
13. Construction of steel lattice structures
